JetSpot is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Manager

JetSpot is a Class B Internet Service Provider (ISP) that caters to both home and business segments. We’re a growing bootstrapped startup with NOC & head office at Bhubaneswar and with customers all around the state of Orissa.  
We offer ultra-high speed broadband services, on both wireless and wired formats and delivering FTTH & FTTN networks at speeds starting upto 100Mbps.

We’re looking for a passionate and hungry Marketing and Business Development rock-star who wants to join a dynamic company. If you have a passion for reach and you are a real tech/email savvy geek, keep on reading! You’ll have the opportunity to impact the execution of our marketing and partnership strategy and execution in Orissa, and we expect your creative and analytical mind to lead us in digital marketing, online acquisition and in-person evangelism. You’ll be expected to tackle the challenge of building our brand and physical presence in Orissa and have a lot of fun while you’re at it!

Your Role :

  • Sales to both B2B and B2C consumers in the assigned territory
  • visiting corporate customers for demos.
  • Meeting assigned corporates, offices, builders, societies and their board and convincing them about products.
  • Ensuring overall increase in the revenue of the organization
  • Generate leads and campaign management
  • Work on sales strategies and business development
  • Providing the necessary support and training to different channels and sales executives (if required)
  • Manage partnerships incubators, event organizers, cool startups, etc.), optimize the visibility of our brand across the different key personas
  • Attend local tech and marketing events in Bhubaneswar
  • Represent JetSpot in Orissa and coordinate local PR work with the local PR agency
  • Manage paid acquisition effort with a local media or marketing agencies
  • Constantly monitor the web and react to relevant mentions: our brand, our topics, our competitors, etc.
  • Produce and diffuse marketing content: guides, white paper, guest posts, case studies, webinars, infographic

Your Profile :

  • You’re a true hustler – effective. When you come across a problem, your reflex is to fix it
  • Must have a Facebook & Instagram Account.
  • Autonomy and pro-activity is your second nature
  • Fluent in English, any extra languages are a huge plus
  • You are comfortable with tech topics
  • A geeky/curious nature: you love to understand, explain, and dissect
  • You have a lot of energy
  • You love writing, blogging, reading tech and email related trends and you share your knowledge about it

Your Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written skills
  • Experienced in digital marketing disciplines and strategies
  • Excellent social networking skills
  • Ability to quickly produce cool content, e.g. take fun pictures
  • Experience in email marketing, email design, CRM and email automation strategies
